100% AUTHENTIC SIGNED GENESIS FOXTROT LP

 

DESCRIPTION

Super rare Genesis - Foxtrot Original 1st Pressing 1972 

Red text on spine

"A-1U" & "B-1U" matrix numbers, "Porky" & "Pecko" handwritten on run out grooves

Textured gatefold sleeve

Comes with red and white inner which was only available for a brief time. I've not seen many of these!

Charisma Records CAS 1058

Authentic signed note by Peter Gabriel himself  which has been validated by Lisa Murton (Coordinator of Real World studios); I have the emails to prove this. Furthermore, Peter's PA has spoken to him regarding Marilyn Baker and he acknowledges that he does know her. What makes this record particularly special is that it has been suggested that it is possibly Gabriel's own copy which he passed on as a gift to Marilyn Baker.  If you look closely at the top of the front cover there is a visible mark where there was once a sticker so it could be a factory sample which Gabriel acquired. On the inside of the gatefold to the right side there is a handwritten "GABRIEL" in red capital letters which has been crossed out with blue ink  just above a personal handwritten note to Baker which reads:  

"To Marilyn Baker, Thankyou (sic) for all the help and encouragement with the oboe, Peter."  

(One of the instruments he played on this record was an oboe which is acknowledged on the bottom of the gatefold).
