A very RARE BEATLES realated Programme, this being a Programme for the "First Ever" Liverpool Jazz Festival at the Cavern Club (later home base of The Beatles) during the week beginning 10th January 1960. The Beatles connection, however, is enhanced on the inside back Cover, where 4 other supporting Liverpool Groups are listed inc Rory Storm & The Hurricanes, with Band members listed. On drums for Rory Storm, is a certain RINGO STARR, hitting the "limelight" well ahead of his later co-Beatles. Of the retinue of Jazz Musicians featured are Acker Bilk, The Saints, Ronnie Scott, Johnny Duncan, Ken Colyer etc. Among the supporting Mersey-based Groups is the very early line-up Swinging Blue Jeans. The Programme has a central vertical foldline & slight creasing but overall remains in VG condition. A really nice early piece of Beatles related Memorabilia. NB.
