Description
This is the RAREST Bruce Springsteen Items Out there. Known as the "Script Cover" this is an advanced Promo of Born to Run Issued with an alternate cover.
Differences: Name and Title In Script instead of Block Letters No Other Writing on Cover No Writing on Spine Larger Picture inside Gatefold No Writing inside Gatefold The back cover has a track listing cut and pasted on it. This was in place when I got the record. This is the information I received when I asked about it: There are three different back cover versions of 1975 pressings. One of them has the John Landau typo. One of them has a sticker over the credits correcting his name to Jon Landau. The third has his name printed correctly as Jon Landau on the cover. This one has the sticker over the back credits with the corrected credits.
The cover is VG+ and the Vinyl is NM as far as the record itself is concerned. There is some writing on the label. The sides are labeled as "Side 1" and "Side 2"in handwriting. I am not sure if this was done at the time of release or later. Side one also says "Best Wishes From Roy Bittan" who was the E-Street keyboardist, however I have no idea as to whether or not that is authentic.
