Description

Various Artists, Bring Me Another Half A Pint (Barrelhouse BH-09) (1976). Chicago blues bands recorded by Steve Wisner during 1975, issued here for the first time on George Paulus's Barrelhouse label. Featured artists: Kansas City Red, Easy Baby, Nate Armstrong, Sonny Boy McGhee, Earl Payton, Billy Branch. Backing musicians include Big Red (g), Hayes Ware (b). Excellent old-fashioned Chicago bar-band blues.

Condition: not far short of new. Disc is immaculate. Jacket has tiny bumps at the corners, and the back is a little grubby, but is otherwise unworn and with no significant damage. A fine copy of an extremely collectable item.
