UK mid-’60s collector reissue of Meteor 5018 (recorded 1955).
One of an early set of limited-edition 45rpm releases on the Blue Horizon label.
Only 99 copies were ever pressed of this item. In its original plain paper sleeve.
From the collection of the noted UK blues writer – and Blue Horizon co-founder – Neil Slaven.
Condition: a carefully looked-after copy that has been in the owner’s possession since it was first issued. Very slight wear, no signs of damage. Labels clean. Paper sleeve tanned at edges and a little crumpled.
Ultra-rare.
This is part of a large collection of Blue Horizon and related-label 45s that will be advertised here over the next few weeks.
In view of the item’s value, the buyer will be billed for a tracked-and-signed postal service, to which may be added, if appropriate, a further amount in full-sale-value insurance cover. Buyers are free to request cheaper postal services but at their own risk.
