Description
Hank Ballard was born John Henry Kendricks. He was a rhythm and blues singer and the lead vocalist of Hank Ballard and The Midnighters. One of the first proto-rock 'n' roll artists to emerge in the early 1950s. He played an integral part in the development of rock music. He wrote and recorded "The Twist" and invented the dance, later adopted by Chubby Checkers.
This is a vintage1960 - 33 RPM by Hank Ballard - The One and Only on King Records #647. The cover is in pretty good shape, the edges show a little wear. There is a 2 inch split on the bottom edge (from taking the record in and out). There is an inner sleeve included. The record is in nice shape with little play wear. There are only very mild scratches. I don't think they mount to much. I haven't played the record., but it looks to be in nice condition.
Considering it's age, I think this is a very nice example of this rare album.
