PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. RARE and sought after ...Original 1967 first pressing of a trippy USA teen scene garage/psych album that will have you grooving along while tidying up your crash pad. Contains some great guitar with a twangy edge, and cool organ work.
STILL WITH THE SCARCE PRINTED INNER SLEEVE
The Los Angeles California-based Alshire/Somerset label released this hip groove when in 1967 the label shelled out some cash to have studio musicians write and record a psychedelic album to 'get with the pop-art craze'. Designing a trippy cover, the cleverly titled “The Animated Egg” proved surprising accomplished. With little at stake, the obscured/annonymous band roared through a decidedly cool set; material such as “A Love Built On Sand”, “I Said, She Said, Ah Cid” and “Sock It My Way” heavy on fuzz, feedback and swirling organ. Elsewhere, “Sippin’ And Trippin’” offered up a nifty slice of Byrds-styled jangle rock, while “Tomorrow” was a different take on The Spencer Davis Group’s “Gimme Some Lovin’”. Sure, it isn't going to change your life, but in terms of enjoyment the set is a blast. Name an album where it sounds like the band had as much fun at the recording session.

CONDITION: The cover: fragile first printing = Usually this cover IF found is worn out and split all over - here a 46 year old survivor with bright original colors, rated: MINT in partial factory cellophane (missing about 1/4 of outer cellophane on front; all the cellophane on back cover ... no split seams, no bends, no delete marks, no writing = looks collectibly great ....fresh original colors = collection worthy rarity ...
The vinyl: is glossy on both sides, rated: M- TOP COPY = looks nice, reflecting CLEAN enjoyable audio playback. Both labels are clean
