Lesa - Till The End Of The Day / Story Of My Life / Twist and Shout
Extremely rare Barbarian label 45 by Alex Chilton's then girlfriend, Lesa Aldridge, founding member of Memphis first all girl punk band, the Klitz. When I say rare, I mean rare - there were reportedly only 200 copies pressed in 1980, and they were NEVER SOLD IN STORES!. Most were given away by the label owner to his friends! If you collect Alex Chilton Jim Dickinson Big Star rarities, this is about as rare as it gets!
Elaborate foldout picture sleeve includes a nude paper doll cutout (photo reportedly from a Penthouse layout that didn't happen). Produced by James Luther Dickinson, Alex Chilton and Jim Blake.
condition sleeve: close to mint, there is a crease in the head of the paper doll, which sticks up out of the sleeve.
condition record: M-. looks unplayed, record has plain blank white labels, labels were never affixed to the vinyl. Cut out labels, which, strangely, are not formatted for a 45, are included (see picture).
