Description
"The Kraft Music Hall" Radio Transcription Disc. Approximately 15 minutes on this 16 inch, black lacquer acetate, 33 1/3 rpm disc. This disc was recorded by The Office Of War Information for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, very rare!
This disc contains 15 minutes (the 2nd half of a 30 minute show) of "The Kraft Music Hall" radio program from July 12, 1945.
This program features Josh White Sr., Josh White Jr., Connee Boswell, The Paulette Sisters, Edward Everett Horton, Les Tremayne, Raymond Paige & His Orchestra
The disc begins during the song "One Meat Ball" sung by Josh White Sr. and Josh White Jr. The song begins at the start of the second verse. The Paulette Sisters (announced as being discovered by Connee Boswell) sing "Bell Bottom Trousers". Connee Boswell & The Paulette Sisters sing "There Must Be A Way"?
Program includes closing announcements & commercial for Kraft. Program was originally broadcast on NBC
Disc is in Excellent- Condition with Excellent Sound. There is some damage to the label which is visible in the photos
