This is my most prized record. I hate to let it go but I'm getting married this summer and need the cash, otherwise I would hold onto it for years to come

EXTREMELY RARE Sire Records double-sided 12" vinyl test pressing of The Ramones’ 1976 self-titled debut album. White Columbia Record labels on both sides of the disc are blank, and the original paper sleeve is notated “SASD 7520, Advance Copies.” 


Etched on one side of the record is "SASD 7520 A" the opposite side is etched "SASD 7520 B" and "Jani is a Punk"


Accompanied by an 8.5 x 11 “Sire Album Label Copy” ABC Records, Inc. sheet dated April 5, 1976, bears track listings, running times, and copyright information. 


Record is in Excellent condition, appears to be unplayed. Very light surface marks on the record. Sleeve is good condition, has a few light markings on it. Looks pretty good for being over 30 years old. Please feel free to email me if you would like any additional photos. I am more than happy to take additional pictures.


Test pressings are the first vinyl discs made at the factory and are produced in small numbers in order to evaluate disc and sound quality prior to mass production. Predating the original release date of April 23, 1976, by three weeks, this is a highly desirable and uncommon test pressing of an album that helped popularize the punk rock genre.
