Description
RAMASES - SPACE HYMNS ON VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL 1971
With fold out poster sleeve & original Vertigo spiral inner sleeve. This very rare UK-pressed LP is in VG+/ EX condition & it bears the original Vertigo "swirl" design label. (Released in 1971, the catalogue number is Vertigo 6360 046 with 1Y/1 & 2Y/1 matrices on the run out. )
The sleeve does have some ring wear & creasing as well as wear to the edges. On the major folds down the edge of the front sleeve there is wear due to the folding & unfolding of the sleeve over the last 36 years. This has lead to some splitting (approx. 3 cms) along the bottom fold of the front sleeve and 2 small holes ( approx. 1 cm in size at the bottom of the folds of the rocket section of the poster - see photo). These defects do not detract too much from the magnificence of the Roger Dean designed sleeve.
The "Swirl" inner sleeve is in VG condition.
