Original 1955 release on Rama Records (catalog # RR-66, runoff grooves read: "45-TR243 4N" written on A-side; "TR-997-45" stamped and "D4640" written on B-side).SUPER scarce original Rama 45, featuring an early cut from NYC's Latin mambo king Tito Rodriguez on the A-side, backed with Eddie Barclay's eclectic instrumental "The Bandit (O'Cangaceiro)". A bit of a departure for this famed doo-wop label... I cannot locate any reference to this record's existence anywhere on the net.
CONDITION: / Vinyl NM- oustanding condition -- the Tito Rodriguez side is Near Mint, no flaws at all, play beautifully, label is also Near Mint; the Eddie Barclay side has a little wear and plays with a bit of background noise at the start -- very minor -- also has an address sticker on label. Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]grade only used if record is brand new.
