Quiet Riot II LP with Randy Rhoads, VERY RARE- excellent condition
This auction is for the rare Quiet Riot II album from 1979 (not to be confused with the later QR II album). This record features the late, great Randy Rhoads on guitar. The songs are good but Randy’s playing is phenomenal. This is one of the works that makes Randy arguably the greatest rock guitarist of all time.
This is a very rare original print record, released only in Japan. The Japanese promo sleeve (green strip of paper) is still on this well-kept and unique item. Although some of these songs were released on the Quiet Riot: the Randy Rhoads Years CD, most of the songs have never been released on CD and it is likely that you’ve never heard them unless you have or knew someone that has this album. An insert has the lyrics to all the songs in English on one side and in Japanese on the other.
The disk and sleeve are in very good condition. I paid $25 for this extremely rare item back in the mid 90s but downsizing my living space forces me to sacrifice some of my most cherished possessions. The record and sleeve have always been kept in a protective plastic jacket and the disk has only been played once (to copy to cassette) since I’ve owned it. If you like I can create a CD copy of the music so that you can listen to it without damaging the record by playing it. I have a USB record player that does a very good job of reproducing the great vinyl sound into a digital file.
