Description

Here, we have a copy of Queensyrche's Rage for Order on vinyl. What a record. This is also signed by all 5 members of the group that played on Rage.

I went to see Queensyrche support Bon Jovi at Hammersmith Apollo in 86. We travelled down from the North of England and bought tickets from a tout outside. We knew the lighting guy, so the second night ( They did two nights back to back), we were sorted to get on the guest list. End of UK leg party! With Bon Jovi!

I think we chatted to a guy from Kerrang who let us know where the bands were staying. So the  next day, we set off walking to the hotel and en route bumped into Queensyrche, who then invited us back to the hotel later that afternoon. So I bought this copy of Rage for Order in the hope I would get it signed. We then went to the hotel and sat in the foyer. At this point, Bon Jovi came down and joined us sat round a coffee table, which I thought it would be really cool to ignore them and hold my Queensryche album up in front of my face. ( young and stupid and rude I know) Anyway, they got the message and left!

Queensryche eventually turned up from having a radio interview, chatted, and signed this album.

They asked us if we had tickets for the performance as they had guest passes. My friend wanting sound like we were part of the in crowd told them we were already on the guest list, so turning there offer down. We said our goodbyes and said we will see them all later.

30 mins later our lighting guy friend then says he has no passes for the show with it being the end of show party that night. Both gutted by this but maybe a little wiser, we set off on the long journey home with the words of Queensyrche going round our heads of the offer of guest passes for the show.

The album has been kept in a plastic sleeve which has protected the album and signatures very well.

There are couple of faint hairline scratches which when play testing where not audible. This album sounds great on vinyl.

I use the following record grading but will always include a picture of any notable issues.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
