Description

An original 1st issue of ATTACK on the UK EMI label. Matrix 3U/6U. Ok, it's not the earliest copy available out there - you can get 4's. But would have been available for purchase toward the end of the initial charting phase. Note how the side indicators are vertical [not horizontal]. The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L fully laminated cover. Worth insisting on one from the 1st issue period as they were printed on decent card stock with quality lamination. Also included is the original G&L inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very insignificant marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A really top level player across the board. A very clean player throughout. Even into those quieter sectors - just a lovely quiet background. You will get to witness Queen at the height of their powers - unhindered by any distracting background. All I could make out was a couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) In lovely clean condition and showing no signs of light fade. Lovely deep blacks with barely a crease front or rear. Really nice and flat - a very impressive looking cover. Hardly any edge wear at all. The openings are still sharp. If I were being super critical I'd mention a tiny 5mm bump in the middle of the opening [which can be forgiven given the rest of the Lp looks so darn good]. The spine is 100% intact. Corners are still pointy. Very impressive throughout. Lovely rigidity maintained. You'd struggle to go better.
Inner (Vg+) Please note there is an inscription on one side. It's actually quite a nice inscription - wishing a musician a happy 21st birthday. But in other respects this cover looks superb. Only lightest evidence of ageing at the extremities. No splits!
