Have you ever seen a black vinyl version of Made in Heaven first press?? 99.9%+ of first press LPs are the white/ivory vinyl - the norm.


However, a limited run of 2000 LPs were also printed on black vinyl and this is one of them. Supposedly belonged to a BBC R2 DJ in its time (I don’t have proof of this claim). Only a few black vinyl LPs must left in existence.


Cover and inter sleeve are Ex and being conservative, the vinyl is VG+ (or better). The vinyl still has a great lustre and a nice shine to it. Please see pics. Some superficial marks and scuffs etc. It now lives in a vinyl friendly plastic sleeve. No skips, slips or major clicks etc when tested.


I also have an ivory vinyl first press and this black vinyl sounds better in my opinion. It has something about it.


Matrix markings in the runout are A-02-01-1 and B-02-01-1
