B.B.C ROCK HOUR
LIVE AT THE HAMMERSMITH ODEON, LONDON, 1975
MEGA RARE VERSION A. #510 MARCH-4th 1984
Here is a Mega-Rare original BBC Rock Hour album containing the brilliant 1975, Christmas Eve Queen gig that took place at the Hammersmith Odeon, London. This vintage 1975 concert captures Queen at their very best during the bands 'A Night At The Opera' tour.
This is an extremely rare very hard to find Queen item that was only ever pressed in very small quantities for radio station use only. I have owned some other BBC rock hour albums and the content is usually cut to ribbons with really annoying advertising tunes, this album only has a couple of ads so the music just flows along. This 1975 concert was recorded by the BBC so as you would expect the sound quality is really excellent throughout. This copy comes with the original printed cue sheet and also a one page insert which i printed myself.
VINYL = VG++
The vinyl is nice and clean and visually grades as EX to EX+ condition. Both sides have a nice original sheen with just a couple of small light surface marks and some very light sleeve withdrawal traces. There are no nasty marks or scratches but the album plays with some background crackle and some occasional tics, the vinyl looks great but has not been played for many years and so would probably benefit from a professional deep vacuum clean to clear away any dust or grime that may have built up in the grooves over time. Both sides still sound great with a excellent sound quality, as this 1975 live concert was recorded by the B.B.C. then the sound quality couldn't be anything but superb. This is a nice original copy of a very rare Queen item that does not surface for sale very often at all.
LABELS = NM
Both labels are very clean and bright and look as new with no defects.
OUTER & INNER COVERS = VG++
The outer cover is a plain white card record sleeve with a black & white picture pasted on to the front. This cover grades as very good condition as there is some marking and some light age discolouration. The die-cut card inner sleeve and the thin white paper inner are both in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear and marking.
CUE SHEET AND INSERT
The original one page cue sheet with track information and running times printed on both sides is in very good condition. I printed the other insert myself and this grades near mint.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
