Description
This is a rare copy of Public Image's Metal Box that comes in a steel embossed film can. It is in perfect condition and has never been played. There are 3 albums to the set and was made for the European release. I bought this album brand new the week that it came out but never played it because i got the American releases. This is a rare origional first pressing well worth putting in your collection. It has the Metal 1 sticker on the back with no rips, tares, scratches or frayed edges. I'ts perfect. The metal box itself is an air tight case in perfect condition with no dents, scratches, or marks except for some oxidation caused by the weather that all of these cases have. It can be cleaned up to perfection with a little chrome polish. I chose to let it stay that way and let you decide on how you want the finish to look like on the case. It has the four circular record deviders to keep the records clean and a flyer insert explaining the songs and credits on each side of each album as the albums themselves only have logos on them instead of the song names. On the front of the can is a small sticker saying "Made in England" also in good shape. This album was released on Virgin records in 1979. The vinyl is PERFECT! Never been played or touched. Everything about this album is perfect from cover to flyers to vinyl etc. This 3 album set costs $50.00 brand new in 1979. This will be the Crown Jewel of any record collection . You won't be sorry to add this to your collection. Shipping outside of the U.S. will be calculated by buyers location. Contact me for more information or photos.
