Description

  KATCH 22
 'MAJOR CATASTROPHE'

DOUBLE SIDED ACETATE
RYEMUSE SOUND STUDIOS, LONDON

1966

Before I say anything else one thing has to be said at the top. This acetate does not look good. It has a marked surface and looks worn.

The good news ( almost unbelievably ) is that it seems to play fine and loud with just some playing sound.

This comes from my extensive collection of acetates which were filed by song rather than performer. Arthur Rye started the studios in Mayfair in the 60's and I have others with various bands . Cream recorded and cut material there. I am pretty sure this is Katch 22 and is the released version and I would have loaded a clip if all my electronics hadn't collapsed. It is double sided-the flip says Talk to me but it I think it's Hold me -the released track-there is a little clicking on this track.

Part of the reason that it still sounds ok and why the studio was popular is the cuts were deep

The label ( on both sides) must have slipped when stuck on..

So basically as rare as hell but looks worn

100 percent genuine
