This is an opportunity to buy a first pressing of Pixies’ classic Surfer Rosa on Vinyl LP


This is a genuine First Pressing 4AD CAD 803 and is the “Rough” Sleeve Variant. Matrix Etching “Nudism” on one side and “with an F” on the other denoting an original pressing.

condition: see my feedback - 100% over twenty years - I always seek to accurately represent the condition of records I sell.

the photos will give you a good idea of the condition, especially of the sleeve.

Sleeve is VG. It’s overall clean and white (have seen much dirtier copies). There are minor marks on it (very hard to keep a “Rough” texture sleeve pristine - I have kept it in a plastic sleeve since I got it). The top left corner has a 5mm split (See photo). Very small but worth pointing out. Very slight ring wear visible at base of front cover. Reverse is clean, with some age-related marks but overall a very nice example. Main reason not to be VG+ is the split in top left corner (See photo). Gold inner is intact, no rips or tears but with slight ring wear visible.

vinyl is VG. There are a few crackles at the start of side 2. There are a few visible marks / smudges on side 1. Have play tested and there are a few minor and brief crackles and pops from time to time, so for me that’s VG condition rather than VG+.

Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.
