Description
PINK FLOYD UK FIRST 1970 PRESSING. Atom Heart Mother. Gramophone Co Ltd. rims and NO EMI on labels. Matrices are SHVL-781-1G. STAMPERS MM-MOTHER 14 side one. Side two. SHVL-781-B3-STAMPER "G" MOTHER "1" I bought this album some time ago as people would tell me I would love it. I HATE IT ! I think Pink Floyd are the most over rated band in history. It's all production with no musicality ... If you like this "progressive" pop, this album is as good as you will ever find. The condition is immaculate. Labels and vinyl a strong EX++ to NM ... No flaws. Has the original inner sleeve as well. Cover is VG+ as there is spine wear, but no splits on any of the spines ( this is a gate fold ,of course ) I am a UK Beatles collector and am going to be posting a few first pressings on Parlophone Label. Back to this record, the matrices are spectacular. Basically A1 and B3 with side two being the creme de la creme. Record will be shipped with record in protective inner sleeve packed outside of cover. Shipping in USA $6.00 it is quite heavy for a single album. ... Rest of world $14.00 WILL NOT SHIP TO SPAIN,PORTUGAL,USSR OR GREECE.

Labels have "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." rim text.NOT "EMI"rims ... There is NO "EMI" BOX LOGO ON LABELS.This is an original first pressing. As I am a collector myself,I am always after the best first pressing,or at least a pressing from the period. EMI logos are generally later reissues, the Gramophone Co. Ltd.is usually a good indicator as to dating any given pressing.price rating
