Description

This is the real thing: an original 1979 UK pressing of The Wall by Pink Floyd. Harvest labels, made in Great Britain labels, and deadwax matrices:
A-2U B-5U A-1U B-5U
This first pressing of The Wall is an all analog pressing. As you may know, the modern era pressings of The Wall were from PCM digital. The Sax and Grundman remasters sound nice, but there is is something special about the sound of an early analog pressing done when the master tape was fresh. There just seems to be a little extra sparkle.
Sleeve Grade: Near Mint Minus (The sleeve has no splits but there are signs of light wear, edges aren't perfectly sharp, and the color has faded some and is not as vibrant as when new in 1979).
Vinyl Visual Grade: Near Mint Minus (Vinyl only has 2 small light marks over 4 sides when examined closely under good lighting that do not affect play).
Vinyl Play Grade: Near Mint Minus (You can actually enjoy playing this, not just "collecting" it).
Labels: Near Mint Minus/Very Good Plus (There is some spindle marking around the spindle hole but labels otherwise are clean).
