Description

An original 1st press of Meddle on the UK Harvest label . Matrix 1U/1U - very 1st cut. Please note the labels mention 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text - indicative of 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an outer textured gatefold cover. Also included is an original generic white inner from the time.
Vinyl (VG/VG+) IN very nice condition despite light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with a couple of deviations. A decent player but not suitable for someone fussy about background. Pretty decent player for the most part. I did, however, pickup some background in a few spots. 'Pillow of Winds' & in the openings to 'Echoes' on side 2. Apart from that expect a pretty decent delivery. Just be realistic and most, who are not overly fussy, should be quite happy with this rendition.
Cover (Vg+) Nice clean front and rear - nothing overtly nasty looking. The interior is exhibiting some light ageing. There's a bit of edge wear in places - but nothing epic. The spine is ok with some wear. The text is is, now, only partially legible. Overall the cover retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light aged. No splits.
