Description

An original 1st issue of Meddle on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A3/B3. Stampers 1R-3MG. Please note the labels still mention 'Gramophone' and thus are indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original textured [inside and out] gatefold cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great shape and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. By and large interference is very minor and infrequent. The only vaguely audible issue is during the opening track's intro - the base plucking intro. We're getting a few crackles over this intro - not really invasive.. but audible all the same.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and looking very nice and clean unlike many other original examples that surface. The front is pretty much perfect. The rear is exhibiting a bit of creasing around the opening [nothing major]. The interior is pretty much immaculate - none of the usual signs of ageing. Edge wear is relatively light for this title and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
