Description

An original 1st issue of Meddle on the UK Harvest label from 1971. Matrix A4/B3. Please note, importantly, that 'Gramophone' is still evident in the label's perimeter text - indicative of 1st issue. The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L cover with texturing on the outside. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we can only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback on side 1 and VERYGOOD+ for side 2. Little to complain at on side 1 just nice clean audio. Side 2 grades lower as there are a few crackles and the odd tick in the first half of 'Echoes'. Side 2 is ok.. it's just not up to the standard set by side 1. Overall still a very enjoyable rendition of this Floyd classic.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. Nice clean front and back without much ceasing at all and just a couple of tiny marks. The interior looks good too with perhaps just some light ageing apparent now. Edge wear is fairly light and the text on the spine is still all legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. One corner stain.
