I have decided to start selling on E-bay also the collection of japanese singles. In this private collection I am selling I have found a variety of Pink Floyd japanese singles. Most of them are promotional copies in perfect condition (including a copy of the leggendary See Emily Play red wax promo). The copy offered in this auction is a rare japanese pressing of Free Four. Catalog number: Odeon 4RS-322 This is one of the hardest japanese singles to find!!! This is a rare promotional copy of Free Four released by Odeon Records with a special promo only picture sleeve and different catalog number from the more common version. This record has not been pressed on red vinyl (as I found out on the Pink Floyd Archives). Some copies were released with black odeon labels, others (scarcer than the black label copies) with white promotional labels with the writing "promotional copy for dj use only". This has white promotional labels!!! Condition: the picture sleeve has a slight discolouration on the front (as you can see from the pictures). Otherwise looks perfect. The record looks unplayed and perfect, with no marks, no hairlines, no scuffs. I am not going to playgrade this record as it is as shiny as new even if it has 33 years!!! Have you ever seen such a wonderful copy of this rare single? This is your chance to get it!!! All these items were stored in a very particular manner. The picture sleeve was placed on a thin wood panel to preven the formation of a ringwear; the record was placed in a thin plastic protective sleeve to avoid papers scuffs when sliding; in front of the picture sleeve was placed a thin plastic protective sleeve (transparent) to prevent damages when stored. The result: a perfect copy after 33 years!!! Please bid early if you are interested in this item, as I will not accept private offers after the auction ends with a legitimate buyer, even if the offer is considerably higher than the closing price (like has happened for some items I recently auctioned) Please also note I will be away for the last week of March. Therefore I will not be able to ship the item if payment arrives after the 23rd of March. Qestions are more than welcome.
