Item:
Original & complete 1st UK press of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973. Solid blue 1st press labels. 1st press 'midnight blue’ tint sleeve that seals on the front panel with a tab as per 1st version 1st press sleeves. This sleeve also has the round purple title sticker on the front which is the 1st version 68mm larger sticker. The set is complete with all inserts - both posters, both postcard stickers and original black poly-lined inner sleeve. The two postcard stickers are 1st version ‘crackback’ issues and the black die-cut inner has 2 patent numbers and “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN” printed on as-per 1st press sets. All parts are original.

Stunning condition! The vinyl is super-glossy, exceptionally clean with at most one or two very short fine lines, that are lost in the shine and can neither be heard nor felt, EXCELLENT++The disc sits completely flat on the turntable with no warping. It plays beautifully, clearly with no skips or sticks, no repeat clicks or loud obtrusive pops throughout both sides. No factory skip on track B1 Money. The long quiet 'heartbeat' intro to track A1 is nice and quiet and a great start to a big, punchy 1st press sound that continues as it starts throughout the two sides. A great listen! The 1st press 'midnight blue' tinted sleeve with large purple sticker is EXCELLENT! with only light signs of storage. Both posters have no tears, folds, tape marks or pin holes MINT-! Both postcard stickers are unused EXCELLENT PLUS! The black poly-lined inner has no splits and the lining is fully intact EXCELLENT! Superb condition, complete 1st UK press set.
All items are play graded and carefully checked. All LPs are cleaned on the Gläss Ultrasonic Vinyl Cleaner for optimal sound-quality.
PACKING:
Special German made extra-stiff Cardboard Box designed for multiple LPs are used, even for single LP packages. The boxes are oversized and thus provide extra corner protection as well as great stiffness to the package. Additional protection may also be used when found nessesary, such as stiffeners, extra corner-protection. I do not charge anything for packing materials.
