Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon (Solid Blue Triangle - UK First Pressing)
For Sale is a holy grail item amongst Pink Floyd collectors. A true, complete, first press, solid blue triangle copy of Dark Side Of The Moon. Condition is as follows.
Record is VG: A really tricky one to grade this. Vinyl looks solid VG+ to EX with only the very finest of hairlines visible under strong light however the press plays with light noise throughout. Listened to with headphones, only noticeable in quieter passages. Proper A2/B2 matrix's, with the track 'Money' playing through great (known pressing flaw on other copies). Labels have very light spindle marks and a mark on Side 2 label where it looks like a needle has come off the run out groove and scored the paper. This record has been used but is well looked after, still a very enjoyable listen. Correct black inner sleeve is present with a very small section out of back top right corner.
Sleeve is VG+: A nice early stickered sleeve. Light grey background rather than black background of later presses. Small section missing from spine and light scuff on front left of the cover, otherwise clean. Sticker fully intact, nice crisp inner gatefold.
Posters are VG+: Both really nice condition with no rips, holes or creases. Print is bright and bold. Slight mottling/discolouration to back of both due to storage.
Stickers are VG+: Both again intact with backing present - slight discolouration due to storage. Crease on backing of one of the stickers but not on front (?!).
Overall a very tidy and complete package of a very rare record. Once in a lifetime opportunity to own a bit of music history.
