Description
PHILIPS SBL7871: TERRY SMITH 'Fall Out'
UK jazz rarity from 1969, the only album from the 1960's by this great modern-jazz guitarist. This has him accompanied by a large group with arrangements by Harry South and Jimmy Deuchar. There are solos by Kenny Wheeler (fl-h), Bob Efford (ts), Ray Warleigh (fl) and Jim Lawless (vbs). It was recorded at sessions during October 1968. This is an UK 1st Philips stereo pressing with black/silver printing label. As far as I know there was no mono issue of this disc. It was produced by Scott Walker!!!!
Side 1 'Morning Minor'/'The Look Of LOve'/'Early Morning Groove'/'My Man's Gone Now'
Side 2 'I Love You'/'Windows Of The World'/'Fall Out'/'Harry's Theme'
CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is EtoE+ (VG+toVG++) with some light to very light scratches/scuffs, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These have little affect on the playing. The cover is E+ (VG++), with slight corner/edge damage and a very small amount of surface scratching. There is a very small amount of slight residue from a sticky label in the top left hand corner.
