Philippines KISS Gene Simmons LP Vinyl CASABLANCA Record
Manufactured in the Philippines by CASABLANCA Records. Copyright 1978. With catalogue no. NBLP 7120
An ambitious "Solo" project with 4 special records was released in 1978.
Their 4 Solo albums were released simultaneously in one day.
The record label apparently invested about $2.5 million on marketing and promotions for the solo project.
For the USA market and vinyl pressing, LP's featured a special jigsaw poster of each member that,
when you purchased all 4 solo LP's connected together into one large poster or mural.
Also included in the unique releases was a Kiss Army/merchandise order form, and custom inner photo sleeve showing all of the 4 releases.
The songs "Burning up With Fever", "Man of 1000 Faces" and "True Confessions"
were demoed in August 1975 for the Kiss - Destroyer album but rejected by Bob Ezrin. "See You Tonite" was also demoed in 1975,
and the demo versions of all four songs are on the Gene Simmons - The Vault box set, along with a 1976 demo of "Mr Make Believe".
Vinyl is in very good condition with very light surface scratches, which has common to this kind of record.
Scratches does not affect the record. Great music without any skip or pop.
Album sleeves is in good condition, has retained the original plastic shrink-wrap.
Have tape stain with dirt on plastic and sleeves. Purple stamp with written marking on inner sleeve.
Labels are very clean. Still a desirable copy.
