Please see my 100% Ebay Rating (with exception of 1 wacko young lady's rant).  I am an anal audiophile who appreciates great sounding records and playback equipment.  I do my best to give an honest opinion of each record that I sell.  If I  have recently listened to and graded the record on my audiophile-grade equipment, I will note my impressions of that record below.  Concerning my album collection, which I am selling off, I have generally tried to collect and trade up to the best sounding pressings I could find. This record was autographed by the late Pervis Lee as shown in the above photo.  I am also including a copy of the great obituary article that was recently published in the Charlotte Observer during the days following his recent death.

THE RECORD:   This vinyl still has natural shine, but be aware that it has light scratches on it throughout, on both sides.  As noted above, I have played it on both of my turntables and it plays great.  The vocal and instruments come out powerfully and well on top of the ticks. However, the quality of play that you get from this record will depend entirely on the quality of your equipment and how well it is set-up.  If you have any doubts on how well your turntable and cartridge will track this record as described, I would suggest not purchasing.  Vacuum cleaning with a VPI type of record cleaner would be good. This is a great album that I am sure Pervis's family is proud of.
