1973/Cdn/Mushroomusic(MONO).......here's a rare copy of their 3rd lp, this lp was recorded live in Ottawa, Sudbury, and Winnipeg, here is a small quote from an insert that is included with this lp....we were able to bypass the traditional stumbling block - C.B.S. - and produce and distribute this Rumour personally. The music industry generally rips off the artist as badly as the buyer much in the same way that Kraft rips off the farmer as well as the consumer, by this point they were totally off major record labels and deep into social consiousness, the songs are:: tune up, sad stories, the system, educational rag, election results, wiser heads and wild mushrooms, a field trip, hooray for the farmer, kingdoms, comin around the bend - pastures of plenty (Woody Guthrie), i shout love - Martyrs, live to die, and earthbound,.....I only know of one other copy that comes with a cover l;ike this one!, the cover is actually printed on a thick style inner sleeve., on the back of the sleeve is a bio of sorts about Perth County Conspiracy, I purchased this from a person who bought it originally in 1973, it comes housed in the original outer bag as he purchased it, for a tidy sum of $3.00, the price is only on the outer plastic sleeve, the cover is in nice clean condition with minor creasing, no splits or other damage, there are brown tape stains from dried out tape where the back sheet was taped on, see pictures, the vinyl is in shiny excellent to M- condition with only a handful of inaudible hairlines, a gorgeous and very rare version of this great lp!, please check my other auctions for more folk/psych/rock lp's, good luck and thanks for looking!
