Hi ... Here I have an old Rush album of mine. This one is rare!! This copy of Permanent Waves is from the first pressing of the LP. How do I know this you ask?......

The newspaper that appears on the album cover is the Chicago Daily Tribune edition from 1948 that incorrectly reported the result of the US Presidential Election as 'Dewey Defeats Truman'. The Tribune refused permission to use the edition, so the headline on the cover was changed to read ... 'Dewei Defeats Truman' on the first pressing by Rush's native Canadian label Anthem Records. after that the headline was blocked out. LP is in good shape.
