Description
Up for bid is the original 1st issue vinyl LP "Slanted and Enchanted" by Pavement on Matador Records, ole 038-1.
The LP is still sealed in it's original shrink wrap, never opened, therefore is a never handled pristine slab of vinyl goodness (there is an approximate 3 inch split in the shrink wrap along the top edge of the album but you can still tell the album has never been opened).
This issue of Slanted and Enchanted very rare, out of print and almost impossible to find in this condition, which is essentially new and still sealed.
Pavement was an influential American indie-rock band in the 1990s and produced only 5 albums. Slanted and Enchanted is Pavement's critically acclaimed and influential first album. The album regularly appears at the top of lists of most important albums of the 1990s, despite relatively low record sales. In 2003, the album was ranked number 134 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
