Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Paul Chambers “Bass On Top” on the West 63rd St. (no “Inc”) labels of Blue Note BLP 1569. The playing surface has two superficial (inaudible) handling marks on Side 1 and one at the beginning of Side 2; otherwise, the record has a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated West 63rd St. cover has three sharp corners; clean throughout with normal age toning on the back slick. Personnel include Kenny Burrell, Hank Jones, and Art Taylor.
