Description
This is the deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Paul Chambers “Whims of Chambers” on the New York 23 (Side 1)/Lexington Ave. (Side 2) labels of Blue Note BLP 1534. The playing surface is in near-new condition with a high luster; a single inaudible scuff on the first track of Side 1. The laminated New York 23 cover has ½” wear on the top seam, at the spine, 1/8” wear at the bottom corners, and a small lamination flake on the bottom seam, at the opening; the back slick has a discoloration near the bottom right corner. Personnel include Donald Byrd, John Coltrane, Kenny Burrell, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. $200.00.
