Paul Chambers Quartet "Bass on Top"
with Kenny Burrell, Hank Jones, Art Taylor
originally released 1957 // 1st press // not a reissue
Blue Note Records // BLP - 1569 mono blue & white label reads: "47 West 63rd - NYC" "RVG" & "P" imprinted in deadwax both labels are deep groove laminated cover vinyl is in a polysleeve, not the original inner sleeve
COVER: VG+
cover is ok, but not great // lots of yellowing due to age // there are no splits on the seams
VINYL: VG++
except for the two flaws mentioned above, the vinyl, in my opinion, is very clean (has a nice sheen) and plays with great fidelity
there are one or two spindle more on labels
I am an expert shipper.
This record will be sent "Priority Mail" and will be completely insured.
I will remove the inner sleeve and vinyl from the outer sleeve to prevent seam-splits in transit, and I will package the LP using a rigid mailer and reinforced cardboard.
