Patrick Andy – ‘Living In Mount Zion’ / ‘Sister Gene Dub’ – Vivian Jackson (JA)
Absolutely brilliant Yabby You-produced roots from the underrated Patrick Andy. Wicked dub, too; don’t miss it. Original 1977 press; matrix numbers DSR 3109-A and DSR 3110-B, respectively. And don’t miss Patrick Andy’s version of Horace Andy’s Studio One classic ‘Please Don’t Go’ (as ‘Baby Don’t Go’), also at auction this week.Condition: Visually, circa VG, but the disc plays better than that (please listen to the clips). Worn labels; six X’s in red marker pen on the version side (please see scans).

Please note that like many other sellers of reggae on eBay, I’ve been the victim of so called ‘fake bidders’, bad minded people with no intention of purchasing the item they bid on and whose only game seems to be to ruin the auction for buyers and sellers alike. If your feedback is less than five, please get in touch with me before bidding, or I may have to cancel your bid.
In the event that the record is won by a ‘fake bidder’, to save time, I will sell it to the second highest bidder before attempting to relist it. Obviously, the second highest bid will have been raised, as it were, artificially by the ‘fake bidder’. To the extent that it’s possible (this isn’t always the case), when making a Second Chance offer, I’ll try to lower the selling price to one increment above the third highest bid by way of offering a discount or free shipping (or both).
