"Party Time In Jamaica" Rare 1969 UK Studio 1 LP Nice

Various Artists "Party Time In Jamaica", very rare original 1969 UK issue , (SOL-9009) of this fantastic Studio One compilation. In my opinion this is one of the strongest compilations that Studio One issued, about half the tracks are instrumentals from Sound Dimension(s) and include the all time classic "Jericho Rock", the rest of the tracks are vocals, including an early outing for Willie Williams, two from Larry and Alvin, and one each from, the Cables, the Perils, the Gladiators and the Webber Sisters, the full listing can be seen in the scans below and personally I would say that there isn't a duff track amongst them.
Visually the A side has a little very light scuffing and a couple of small very, very light scratches. The B side has slightly more light scuffing and some, approximately sixteen, very, very light scratches. none of the scuffing/marks on either side appear to cause any audible problems, (see below).
Play Grading (graded in mono, but stereo should not sound significantly different.)
Track 1 Minimal, if any, surface noise and one tiny click at the very start.
Track 2 A couple of crackles, otherwise plays great.
Track 3 Plays great!
Track 4 One tiny hint of noise for just a couple of seconds.
Track 5 One slight pop right at the very start, otherwise plays lovely, with barely a hint of noise.
Track 6 Just the tiniest hint of crackle, sounds sublime, may be a different mix or at least a very unique sounding cut!
Track 7 A tiny amount of surface noise/crackle.
Track 8 Plays great!
Track 9 Plays well, barely a hint of surface noise.
Track 10 Plays great, just the slightest hint of noise.
Track 11 Plays well, no problems!
Track 12 Plays great!
The whole record plays with minimal problems, it sounds great and hugely superior to all the later Jamaican represses I've heard.
Both labels are lovely and clean with just very slight spindle marks, otherwise perfect!
The sleeve has slight ring wear and for about a third of their circumference these have become creases in the laminate, there are some other laminate creases mainly in the corners and on the edges. there is very slight wear to the corners and opening and a tiny split in the laminate on the spine that doesn't go through the sleeve. the rear of the sleeve has ring wear, slight creasing and a small amount of dirtying, there is a small stain on the bottom, please see the scans.
A real gem from Studio One, you won't be disappointed!
