Sleeve: Beautiful and a very strong VG++ / Has a whisper of ring wear on two small spots on the front cover. It would really be almost Mint- except for a thin 3" long section of the front cover slick that was not pasted down flatly and is a little raised. All seams are sharp & intact. Has "Not For Sale - Promotional Use Only" embossed at the top left corner of the back cover.
Record: Gorgeous! Looks & plays Mint- / VPI cleaned / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have been played once or twice.
COMMENTS: Rare original Promo copy of this great Heavy 60's Blues Psych LP.
This hard-hitting San Francisco power trio only recorded one album, but it stands as one of the best of its kind. Rooted in blues, its snappy, self-penned songs display a clear acid rock influence, whilst avoiding excess of any sort. Though it was released in Europe and even Australia in 1970, it sank without a trace, spelling the end for the band, though their reputation has been growing ever since.
'Fantastic power trio hard rock that just about everyone likes. This is no-nonsense stuff, brief songs, killer riffs, stong but unpretentious singing, sparse arrangements. There's a mild bit of bluesiness to it, but the songs are fast and the album isn't full of long guitar solos. There's a terrific ballad too. A really good one.' - Acid Archives
