Cover:                            All four corners are slightly worn / bumped / creased and there is some unobtrusive         

                                      creasing near the singer's feet and to the left of the 'Mercury' logo at the top.    

                                      The back cover has slight creasing to the bottom left corner and a small, narrow arc of

                                      creasing on the left edge opposite the production credits. At the top left of the back cover,

                                      someone has written the initials 'DD'. There is other very minor creasing and slight browning

                                      to the perimeter of the back cover.

                                      The spine has hardly any creasing and the album details can be read clearly when the

                                      album is placed vertically in a collection.

Record:                          It is in what I would consider to be excellent condition and plays very well indeed.

                                       Although, when held up to strong light, the lightest and shallowest of scratches / surface

                                       marks can be observed, they are so superficial that they have no discernible effect on

                                       sound quality. It appears to me not to have been played very often. I would be very

                                       surprised if one turned up with better sound quality than this**.

History:                          Many years ago, I was given a record case containing about thirty albums by an elderly

                                      lady who was having a clear out  and who knew I liked music. I accepted out of politeness

                                      but had either not heard of the artists or was not a fan of their music. As a consequence, the

                                      box was stored away.  I moved house last year and started sifting through the albums and

                                      looking them up in 'Record Collector'.  I was surprised to see how rare this was.  I noticed

                                      recently that the same album in similar condition was sold here on eBay for £500. Hence

                                      my decision to list it. The previous seller stated that only 500 copies of this album were ever

                                      produced and that it is one of the rarest of all folk albums. I know little about this genre and

                                      so am in no position to contradict him.

The greatest care will be taken in both the packaging and dispatching of this album. It will also be sent by recorded delivery.

Low starting price and no reserve to be met.
