Description

This an MINT / MINT copy of this hard to find LP, on the UK BELL Records label - SBLL 130 - "RUMPLESTILTSKIN" by RUMPLESTILTSKIN. This is a PROG collector's dream. The brilliant gatefold cover is basically a very colourful strip cartoon by Angus McGill & Steve Thomas about the rotton impressario of the title. The inner sleeve has two full colour shots of a naked girl at a witch's spinning wheel. These pictures are surrounded on three sides by cartoons of strange folk and creatures. The music is typical of it's time (1970) and produced with gusto by SHEL TALMY with ALAN PARKER & ALAN HAWKSHAW, so it sounds great! As Shel writes in the sleeve notes "So I'm leaving it to you, the listener, to judge for youself". Essential !
