TRAFFIC SOUND
CONSIDERED BY MANY (INCLUDING MYSELF) AS THE BEST TRAFFIC SOUND LP EVER, HERE IT IS, A PSYCHEDELIC JEWEL IN OUTSTANDING CONDITIONS BOTH IN COVER AND VINYL.
MY BUYERS KNOW I TRY TO BE QUIET CONSERVATIVE WHEN GRADING, BUT THIS RECORD HAS BEEN SO WELL STORAGED AND PRESERVED , I CAN GUARANTEE YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN A COPY OF “TRAFFIC SOUND” AUCTIONING IN THE NEAR PERFECT CONDITIONS I’M OFFERING IT IN !!! There are perhaps BARELY one or two of these out there in acceptable conditions, so this is
an excellent investment and/or an item for die hard psych collectors
Their third LP titled “Traffic Sound” (MAG LPN-2395), 1970 is in my opinion their finest album. This recording features eight tracks of highly original material, full of “all out” improvised solos. At this point they had a strong, mature sound; unique in the right mixture of psychedelic rock with Andean and Latin music. The hit songs” Chicama Way” and “Tibet’’ s Suzettes” revealed the group’ s inner thoughts and the atmosphere that surrounded Peruvian youths in the early seventies.

HI AND WELCOME TO MY AUCTIONS!
I'VE BEEN SELLING RARE PERUVIAN AND SOUTH AMERICAN RECORDS ON EBAY IN THE LAST MONTHS WITH HIGHLY PLEASED BUYERS.
FROM NOW ON (DECEMBER 03) AND DURING THE NEXT FEW MONTHS I'LL BE OFFERING LPs AND 45s FROM MY VERY PERSONAL COLLECTION, MOST OF THEM OF PERUVIAN CULT BANDS (SURF, PSYCHODELIC, GARAGE, JAZZ, SOUL. LATIN BEAT) FROM THE 60s and 70s, IN HIGHER THAN AVERAGE CONDITION, SOME OF THEM, LIKE THIS ONE, MAY BE THE LAST ONES AVAILABLE, BUT ALSO EXPECT SOME OTHER PERUVIAN PRESSING RARITIES TO SHOW UP, SO PLEASE VIEW MY OTHER ITEMs OR SEND ME YOUR WISH LIST (I HAVE TO SEARCH AMONG 30 000 + VINYLS!)
A COUPLE OF WORDS ABOUT GRADING
IN PERU UNTIL ,SAY, 10 YEARS AGO THESE KIND OF VINYL RECORDS WHERE CONSIDERED TRASH BY NON COLLECTORS, SO MOST OF THEM ENDED UP RECYCLED, RUINED OR JUST DESTROYED. THAT’S WHY THEY’RE SO HARD TO FIND IN ACCEPTABLE CONDITIONS, THE QUANTITY IS EXTREMELY LIMITED AND ONLY A FEW HAVE SURVIVED. IF YOU ADD THAT TO THE FACT THAT THE NUMBER OF PRESSINGS WASN’T HIGH AT ALL, , WHEN YOU GET A QUALITY ORIGINAL PERUVIAN 50’S – 70’S RECORD YOU HAVE A COLLECTOR’S DREAM AND A VALUABLE INVESTEMENT IN YOUR HANDS.
HAVING SAID THAT, I’M PRETTY AWARE OF THE BAD FAME SOME SOUTHAMERICAN VINYL SELLERS HAVE REGARDING GRADING, SO I TRY TO BE VERY CONSERVATIVE AND HARDLY GRADE VINYLS HIGHER THAN VG++ EVEN THOUGH SOME TIMES THEY CAN BE CONSIDERED EX+ OR MORE, BUT WHEN I DO SO, I GUARANTEE IS AN ACCURATE GRADING. REMEMBER MOST OF THESE RECORDS COME FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION. PLEASE E-MAIL ME FOR OTHER FURTHER QUESTIONS.
NO RESERVE: PLEASE BID FAIRLY:,THESE RECORDS ARE MY TREASURE! THANKS AND GOOD LUCK AND A GREAT 2004!

GRADING CRITERIA
VINYL GRADES
MINT (M)- A record that is untouched by human hands. No defects of any kind are present. I seldom give this grade out since even brand new records can have minor imperfections.
NEAR MINT (M-)- A seldom used record that shows little if any signs of use. Only a couple of very minor scratches can be acceptable under this grade, but most of the time a NEAR MINT record will be practically new looking.
EXCELLENT+ (EX+)- A record that shows only minor signs of use. The vinyl may contain only a few very minor spindle marks, surface scratches or imperfections.
EXCELLENT (EX)- A record that shows moderate signs of use, and never abuse. Minor scratches and scuffs may be evident, but should not effect play for the most part.
VERY GOOD (VG)- A record that may show a moderate amount of surface scratches and imperfections from use. The label MAY be written on, dirty, faded or peeling, although it will be mentioned separately. A VG record will have some scratches that for the most part will not effect playback. Some minor noise, hissing or crackling may be evident, especially at the beginning of each side. Should be a dependable copy that may appear used, but for the most part will sound excellent.
GOOD (G)- A record that has been heavily used, and may show some signs of abuse. Minor and moderate scratches will be present on both sides. There is most likely groove wear and soiled vinyl. Playback will be of good quality for the most part, but it is likely that there will be noise in several spots. The label may be very dirty, written on, peeling or partially missing.
COVER GRADES
MINT (M) - A cover that is in perfect, like new condition. Usually sealed and there will be no notch, cut corner or hole punch.
NEAR MINT (M-)- A cover that shows only very minor wear and looks almost new. A cover that has no ring wear, and only very little corner and edge damage that will not detract from it's appearance.
EXCELLENT (EX)- A cover that has been used and handled, but never abused. The edges and corners may be slightly worn or rounded from being transferred to and from. Minor record ring wear may be present. The cover is overall in excellent condition, but not perfect if examined closely. You may find EX covers that have various minor defects, and if a cover has a cut corner, notch or hole punch, it will be graded EX or worse.
VERY GOOD (VG)- A cover that has been frequently handled, but shows normal wear and tear. The edges and corners will show wear and may be rounded, white, and slightly split or soiled. The cover may have creases or minor writing. Ring wear will most likely be seen on the front and back.
GOOD- A cover that has been heavily used. Will show heavy wear on the edges and corners, may be creased, and may be split/splitting. Most likely
