This is my EX / EX copy of this RARE ORIGINAL UK PRESSING of BEGGARS OPERA's 3rd LP "PATHFINDER", released in 1972 on the 'SWIRL' VERTIGO label - 6360 073. Sorry, but this copy does not have a SWIRL inner bag, but it does have a photo-copy of the 'original' press release sent out with the record by PHONOGRAM / VERTIGO at the time of release. PATHFINDER is enclosed in a classic VERTIGO fold out poster sleeve, this one featuring the wonderful artwork of the spaceman on horseback. It folds out into a 6 x 12" squares and very impressive it is too! I have this copy since the mid 70's and it is the shape I found it in. It has never been on a wall and there are no pin holes in the corners. There is some very light loss of surface colour near the bands name / spaceman's head, but this does not spoil the look of the poster when opened up for viewing. The top of the bottom r/h panel shows some edge wear, as this is the edge the record has stood on all these years, but again nothing drastic - it's been folded a long time! Always delicate, I feel EX is a fair description of this poster sleeve, as it has been treated kindly over the years! The disc and SWIRL labels are all in fantastic condition, with a couple of light spindle marks indicating a couple of careful plays! A RARE & GREAT VERTIGO CLASSIC!
