Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! - Original 1972 first press that has become widely sought for good reason easily pulling the cost it takes in collector circles.
RARE 1972 FIRST PRINT in laminated sleeve ... a great hard psych LP that should well appeal to many prog fans too ... the self composed tracks are filled with inventive interplay. Released only in Brazil 53 years ago, the album sounds like a lost USA treasure of first order..
Tobruk originated, as legend unfolds, were formed by Brazilian "heads" taking on American names and playing & singing with an American sound. Early reviews stated the opposite in that the band were Americans living in Brazil, yet further information found the group was Brazilian who pulled-off a North American sound perfectly. The album is correctly sought and rated, considered a "wonderful" underground psych-rock album, released in 1972 on the Cash Box label (sometimes the album is listed as if "Cash Box" is the group name.)
Tobruk's original material certainly has the 'right' sound with psychedelic leanings using only fuzz guitar, organ, some psychedelic effects amid ominous atmospherics. Completely sung in English so basically you get the same style of sound as the 'holy grail' rated "Churchills" and Mexican "Kaleidoscope" albums.
