- Programmer's Digest was an unusual vinyl LP magazine - part print, part audio - targeted for radio broadcast professionals during the early 1970s. "Broadcasting's First Audio Publication."  It was short-lived, published for just a few years between 1972-1975.  Issues (albums) were originally distributed to radio stations, programmers and radio personalities on a subscription basis, like a print magazine, and were not available in stores.  The audio portion - the 12" 33 1/3 rpm vinyl LPs - contained air-checks, jingles, and so forth.  Time span of the set was between 1972 thru 1975. 

- This offering is for the second in the set, Vol. 1, Issue 2, from August 14, 1972.  See pix of record's labels above for record's contents.

- This LP comes from the personal collection of the late, legendary radio & TV personality, Gary Owens (Laugh-In).   

- LP cover is in nice VG+ condition, with 3-1/4" inch seam split at top-center.  Vinyl is  visually in gorgeous VG++/Excellent condition, leaning very close to near mint!  Side One label has a little bit of sticker damage just to the left of the LP's title (see pic).

OUR "VISUAL" VINYL GRADING SCALE (Grading is usually based on the "look" of the vinyl; we normally do not have the time to listen to each record and grade its "sound"):

(SS) STILL SEALED. Original factory seal.

(M) MINT: Perfect, flawless, new

(NM) NEAR MINT: Almost perfect, possibly no more than a few MINOR scuffs, wrinkles or wear.

(EXCELLENT/VG++) Less quality than Near Mint, but still in beautiful condition.

(VG+) Very Good+. Some scratches or scuffs, some surface markings, some wear, etc.  Nice overall.

(VG) Very Good. Too many scratches, scuffs, or wear for VG+, but still in okay condition.

(VG-) Starter copy.

(G) Good. Wrecked. Excessive wear.

(P) Poor. Just what it says.
