Description
PROCOL HARUM
SHINE ON BRIGHTLY
Regal Zonaphone 68 Mono 1st pr LP VG
Nice Audio
LBZ1004
Desirable UK 1st press.
Front laminated sleeve made by
Garrod & Lofthouse has a few laminate creases
but generally VG++ condition.
Original Red & Silver Regal Zonophone Labels are
nr EX condition with a few spindle marks.
Vinyl is VG+ condition & generally pretty clean
but there is 1 slight scratch that starts off not
feelable but ends up slightly feelable covering
Tracks 4 & 5 on Side 1, although this does
give a slight click as the scratch goes on.
Its not really too offensive & certainly doesn't
do a really loud click & it doesn't jump
so please bear this in mind.
Generally the album plays with great audio
throughout with barely minimal surface noise.
Item 788"
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies,
with a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isopropanol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness
in the alcohol water mix.
