Description
Vinyl: side 1: Matrix ends with 2, mother is 2, stamper is GA. Looks EX- plays Mint- with a few random ticks you’d hear on any LP
side 2: Matrix ends with 3, mother is 1, stamper is G. Looks EX- and plays with the following issues: cut 1 opens with a very light scratch (not loud pops) for ~7 or 8 revolutions, this cut ends with a 4 revolution light nick. The gap after cut 1 has a flaw in the groove that causes a raspy sound for ½ of a revolution (less than a second) and is gone before the next song starts. Cut 2 opens with a 2 revolution light tick. Cut 3 has a light scratch that causes repeating ticks for about 1/3 of the beginning. The rest of this side plays without issues.
Cover: solid seams and a clean spine, the front retains a good deal of original gloss with some sporadic rubs and a faint disc outline, a few minor crimps along the edges and spine and a few thumbnails, no actual laminate lifting, nice clean whites. The back of the patents pending cover has fully intact flipbacks and some disc impression is evident on the far left, while the opening is only slightly feathered. Grades EX-
Labels: side 1: has “Factory Sample” label, embossed KT tax stamp, and a couple of very light spindle marks
side 2: has a few very light spindle marks
Inner: will come with an archival inner
Description: a very rare LP, especially with the Factory Sample label. Despite the description of side 2 above, the scratches are very light and do not cause loud pops and there are NO skips or repeaters where the stylus gets hung up in one spot.

I began buying records in the mid 60’s and I've always been fanatical about record care and storage.
The records I sell are from my personal collection, including backup copies. I've never been one to buy VG records or anything with an audible scratch, which eliminates the vast majority.
Over the decades, I've seen grading fads come and go, such as: “visual” grading by people who don't own a turntable; the current use of nonsense grades like NM+ and NM- as well as the dubious belief that there’s no such thing as a mint record.
I use standard US grading plus the UK grade of EX in order to eliminate the dreaded VG+++.
Records are first inspected under a halogen light (the only light that shows every flaw) and any blemishes are examined with a 10x power magnifier which allows the grooves to be fully inspected; then they’re play graded on a Linn Sondek LP12.
As a record buyer, I've had a lot of over graded “garage sale” LPs arrive covered with gritty dust and greasy fingerprints while the seller claims a “visual” grade based on fantasy. Be assured that my records will arrive clean and fingerprint free.
If I do miss an audible flaw, then kindly contact me and it will be rectified.
