MEGA-RARE ORIGINAL 1975 FRENCH TEST PRESSING

CHR.1073A CI DIS A1

CHR.1073B CI DIS A1

This 1975 Robin Trower test pressing album is choc full of superb heavy blues rock tracks with brilliant lead guitar throughout. A musically excellent album by the Ex Procol Harum band member.

This very-rare original 1975 French test pressing is just about impossible to find today, there would only have ever been just a couple of copies of this very early advanced issue pressed up and if you advertised that you wanted one then i seriously doubt that you would ever find one. This rare test pressing is unmarked and has only ever been carefully played just a couple of times and so it is in brilliant clean condition and actually still looks as good as new. This early issue never actually came in a album cover with artwork so to take a little of the plainness off i have printed up a A4 sheet with track-listing and band line-up.

1st PRESS VINYL = MINT- (LOOKS BRAND NEW)

The stereo vinyl is in amazing ultra-clean playing condition and grades an immaculate MINT-, both sides have that brilliant just pressed blemish free appearance, there are no surface marks, scuffs or hairlines at all, both sides really do look in flawless condition, all tracks play superbly well throughout with no clicks or pops or annoying loud crackle, this record has only ever had just one or two careful plays on a decent turntable since new so the sound quality is still perfect throughout. The winning bidder will definitely not be disappointed with this MINT- brilliant playing/sounding original French Test Pressing.

HAND WRITTEN TEST PRESSING LABELS = NEAR MINT

Both labels are in excellent very clean and bright wear free condition and look as good as new. Being a Test Pressing the labels were blank so there is some brief album information written in biro, both sides also have been neatly date stamped '18 FEVR 1975', 'Fevrier' being French for February.

COVERS & INSERT = NEAR MINT

The vinyl comes in a made in the uk white die-cut paper inner sleeve which grades EX+, this then slides into a black die-cut card cover which also grades EX+. The homemade insert is in mint condition. All will be sent in a excellent as new thick outer plastic cover.

This is just a brilliant mega-rare Robin Trower item that will definitely not surface for sale again for many years to come, if ever, it really is that rare.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
