Description

Up for auction is an LP by Shytown Hussler entitled "Gratitude, For Favors Past".  My guess is that it was pressed in a very short run, by Golden Crest, most probably limited to 100 copies, if that!  It was cheaply recorded live at  Concord High School , Delaware on February 26, 1974.  The set list is as follows 1-Introduction -Promenade -Mussorgsky, 2-Mama Kin -Aerosmith, 3-Blowin' Free -Wishbone Ash, 4-Eight Days a Week-The Beatles, 5-See What Love Can Do-Grin, 6-Can't You See-Marshall Tucker Band, and 7-Without You-The Doobie Brothers.  This is the first I've ever seen the LP listed anywhere.  And I can't find any info on it either!

The performances are full of raw energy, superb vocals, and especially great guitar and drum work.  The band features Chris Adam, Jimmy McFadden, Kurt Brittingham, and Jack McCreary.  Man, can they play!

The cover is clean with no seam splits, except for the upper left hand corner where there's a two inch seam spilt and some lamination peeling.  The disc is, for the most part, clean andglossy with some light marks.  Well kept except for three areas on side two that have surface marks that can be seen but not felt.  I've photographed one of those areas.  The others are found on side two in the 7 o'clock and 2 o'clock position on the vinyl.  There's some light surface noise in these areas, but nothing major, nothing that ruins the grandeur of the music.

Winner pays $4 shipping charge.  For overseas bidders and Canada, shipping rate will be adjusted.
